Story Definition Process @ U.S. Bank

Role: Process Strategy, Lead Designer, Workshop Facilitator

This was the result of a series of workshops I lead to define the process of approach as it relates to creating and adding new components, patterns, assets, and content to the USB Shield, Design System.

EA Sports™ Homepage Redesign

Role: Product Strategy & Design

The goal was to create a whole new look, that felt more immersive while visualizing the slogan of “It’s in the Game”. This also was part of an effort to showcase elements of the new design system, I was developing, in parallel to various projects.

EZ Green Point of Sale (Sass) for a federally regulated market.

Role: Industry SME, Lead UX, Design Thinking Facilitator

EzGreen is a compliance-focused POS system for cannabis retail sales and inventory management, focusing on compliance as it relates to government traceability and reporting, HIPAA & GDPR standards. I contributed as an industry SME and lead this product’s design and experience strategy from concept, discovery, launch, and implementation in dispensaries across the US & Canada.

Hotbox™ Brand + Products

Role: Lead Product Designer, Branding, Strategist, Creative Direction

As a nod to cannabis culture nostalgia, the HOTBOX™ brand was born. Here you’ll find a variety of samples including brand elements, products, campaign photography, and creative direction. I founded and lead the teams that support this brand.

In an effort to better understand how to innovate on the EA NHL game and support experiences, we connected with gamers around the country. The goal was to document how users play the game, their motivations, preferred game modes, sports affinity, pain points, and more.

U.S. Bank Design System Documentation

This was part of an effort in documenting how we communicate Status in various components and patterns within our design system (ex. Tables). Additionally, the concept of status was part of a larger effort in how we approach color usage (reference: Case Study).

Accessibility Guide for Designers

Role: Content Strategy, Researcher, Visual Design

At U.S. Bank, accessibility is a priority in design. As we were growing, it became obvious that most designers were new to accessibility. I also served our group of 80+ visual designers as a community of practice lead. One of my goals was to ensure designers feel they have the tools they need, and this felt like an opportunity to provide value through education. So, I created an easily accessible document for designers, that was also part of the onboarding orientation.

EA™ Component Documentation

Role: UX lead, Researcher

EA Sport™ sites were using a single Vignette template consisting of rows of tiles linking to article pages for many important experiences such as global campaign information and player rankings profiles.

While working on the new design system I discovered an opportunity to introduce a modular system of components and usage guidelines to broaden our capabilities to be expressive with this content and better engage with players.

Refresh + design: PetsPlusUs.com Branding and Website

Role: Brand Strategy, UX Lead, Visual Design

PetsPlusUs.com was looking to update its brand and redesign its web experiences for desktop and mobile. The direction for the pallet was to feel friendly, responsible, and caring. Besides refreshing the brand, I also worked on UX with a focus on reducing phone calls and completing their insurance plan sign-up workflow (inquire about this project with me for further details).
